Aluminum foil production process for transformers

  • Raw material preparation: select high-purity electrolytic aluminum and cut it into the required size and shape.
  • Hot rolling: The prepared aluminum material is hot-rolled and pressed into aluminum foil. The hot rolling temperature is usually between 300°C and 500°C.
  • Cold-rolling: Cold-rolling the hot-rolled aluminum foil to make it more uniform in thickness and improve its surface quality and hardness. The cold rolling temperature is usually below 20°C.
  • Quenching: Quenching the cold-rolled aluminum foil to make its hardness and strength meet the requirements.
  • Trimming: Trim the quenched aluminum foil to make the edges smooth, burr-free, and meet the required width and length.
  • Cutting: Cut the trimmed aluminum foil according to the required length and width to make aluminum foil rolls of different specifications.
  • Packaging: Aluminum foil rolls are packaged to keep their surface quality free from contamination and damage.
